Ricard Balada was born June 7, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. At the age of 6, he moved to a small village called Sta. M\u00aa de Martorelles where he grow up around nature. His passion for theatre and cinema made him constantly go to Barcelona and was there, where he studied and began his professional acting career in a Theatre Company (2015-18) called Magatzem d’Ars and working with the director Denise Castro starring her first movie\u00a0Salvaci\u00f3n<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(2016) (premiered in Sitges Film Festival<\/a>). After that, they travel to Bran (Romania) to create and shoot in Transylvania an special movie about vampires called\u00a0Dr\u00e1cula de Denise Castro<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(2018) premiered in IVFAF<\/a> (The International Vampire Film and Art Festival).<\/p>\n 0<\/span><\/p>\n His trajectory has grown up with different roles in movies and series like Oh My Goig<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(2017\/22) – a five season series about sex education – Com si fos ahir<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(2017) by TVC\/TV3,\u00a0Legado en los huesos<\/a><\/strong> (2019), Moros a la costa!<\/a><\/strong> (2019) or\u00a0playing the young painter in El caso \u00c1ngelus. La fascinaci\u00f3n de Dal\u00ed<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(2023). Nowadays he is expanding his career internationally participating in Roads<\/a> (2019) – starring by Fionn Whitehead and directed by Sebastian Schipper (“Victoria”) – and he has just wrapped on Lionsgate’s new comedy drama\u00a0The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent<\/a><\/strong> (2022) starring by Nicolas Cage, Pedro Pascal and Neil Patrick Harris.
